The Giant search engine have planned to shut down its one of the most popular product after the Google+ data breach, Google has announced that they will shut down Google Hangouts, a messaging platform by 2020. Google Hangouts was the replacement product for the GChat in 2013 and is now decided to withdraw by 2020 as they stopped to provide any updates to it. But as per a recent report by 9to5Google, it’s not 2020 but they said that Google will be way sooner shutting down their Google Hangouts by 2019. So 2019 will the last year for the consumers to use it.
Hangout is one of the most popular Google messaging product which can be easily accessed from Gmail account and can also be downloaded from the play store. It provides the communication features of text messaging, video calling, video conferencing and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) facilities.
Google has also launched other communication platform in the past few backs such as Allo & Duo as simple as messaging platform, this will be the major substitute replacement of the Google Hangouts.
